EMILY MORTIMER
With her irresistible charm, England's Emily Mortimer has captured the attention of audiences and critics on both sides of the Atlantic.
This Summer, Emily can be seen in "Lovely and Amazing", also starring Catherine Keener and Brenda Blethyn, and in "Formula 51", opposite Samuel L. Jackson.
She is currently filming "Young Adam," opposite Ewan McGregor in Scotland.
Her other feature films include "The Kid," opposite Bruce Willis for Disney; Wes Craven's "Scream 3," Kenneth Branagh's "Love's Labour's Lost" and David Keating's "The Last of the High Kings" for Miramax; Shekhar Kapur's "Elizabeth" for Gramercy; and Phillip Noyce's "The Saint;" Stephen Hopkins' "The Ghost and the Darkness" for Paramount; Guy Jenkin's "The Sleeping Dictionary," opposite Bob Hoskins and Jessica Alba..
A graduate of Oxford University, Mortimer is also a talented screen-writer. She recently adapted Lorna Sage's memoirs, BAD BLOOD, which won the Whitbread Biography Award in 2001. Renaissance Films will commence shooting of the film in September 2002.
Mortimer splits her time between London and Los Angeles.
